Best Time to Start a Family in Med School

There is never a good time to start a family. Start in medical school vs wait until after residency - things never get easier. Can you do it? YES! I've done it and there are many women before me who have done it.

Med School Break Down:

First year - summer break
Second year - Step 1/board exams
Third year - no summer break
Fourth year - Audition rotations, interviews
Residency - 4 weeks vacation, work work work

Question that you must answer for yourself, before you start med school : WHY DO I WANT TO BECOME A DOCTOR?
