Avant-garde poet Christian Bök reads 3 original translations of Arthur Rimbaud's "Voyelles," a poem which greatly influenced the writing of his book entitled Eunoia. Christian Bök's "Umlaut Machine: Selected Visual Works" was featured by the Kelly Writers House Art Gallery on November 18, 2009.

Christian Bök is the author of Crystallography (1994, Coach House Press), a pataphysical encyclopedia nominated for the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award, and Eunoia (2001, Coach House Books), a bestselling work of experimental literature and winner of the Griffin Prize for Poetic Excellence.
