Gama Pehalwan, also known as Ghulam Muhammad, was an iconic muslim wrestler born in Punjab, India in 1878. Standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing over 260 pounds, he was an imposing figure. Gama's daily diet included 2 gallons of milk, six desi chickens and more than a pound of crushed almond paste made into a tonic drink. Gama used to grapple with 40 of his fellow wrestlers in the court. Gama also used to do 5000 squats and 3000 pushups in a day. Bruce Lee was an avid follower of Gama's training routine. Gama never lost a single professional wrestling match in his 50-year-long career, earning him the title "The Undefeated Champion of the World." His strength was legendary, as he could reportedly lift a 1200 kg (2600 pounds) stone effortlessly. Gama's fame spread globally, and he even defeated many skilled international wrestlers. He remained unbeatable until he retired in 1952. Gama Pehalwan's legacy continues to inspire wrestlers and sports enthusiasts worldwide. After the partition of India in 1947, Gama moved to Pakistan. He died in Lahore, Pakistan on 23 May 1960 after a period of illness. His grave is located in Gujranwala, Pakistan.
