Is college living up to its promise? We think not. College is too expensive and delivers too little for far too many. And true innovation is hard to find. How did we get here and what can be done? We think we know the answer to both. The accreditation system has a lock on federal funds, holds few institutions accountable, and stifles competition. We need startups - full on new colleges - just like we've created in the K12 sector, but the barriers are too great now. College101 is researching and talking about this issue and wants to create new pathways for startup college innovators.
