This one is a beast! In listening pretty closely to this song, especially with the new re-mastered albums being released, I don't believe this song is quite as busy on the kick drum as many people believe. That's not to say there's not still a whole lot going on, but you can hear that he mixes the bass drum pattern up quite a bit throughout the song. The bass guitar is certainly more prominent in the mix though, and so it's easy to confuse what JPJ is (awesomely) playing (even despite the mistake he makes during the last bolero part), with what Bonham is doing on the kick drum.
