Solo Bikepacking Adventure in Eastern Australia | DAY 1

This is my first proper bikepacking trip. The journey was planned to start from Gosford and conclude in Gold Coast, roughly 900km++ over 6 days, but I realised I'd bit off way more than I could chew. I was not well prepared mentally, physically and logistically. It had been a hectic couple of months leading up to this trip and I did not get the chance to train or plan as well as I would have wanted to.

Nonetheless it was still a great trip, no regrets! Being on my own and just with myself was so liberating and fun. Getting familiar with some of the more unseen areas and chatting with the locals here and there was a breath of fresh air that I so desperately needed.

Total bike weight - 12kg + my stuff (24kg) = 36kg~
