"Semi mythical UK electronic duo Breeder were a late 90’s light that shone brightly and relatively briefly, blazing a trail through the world of Global Underground, Sasha , Digweed and beyond, with barely 15 releases / remixes released, but leaving behind them a legacy of dancefloor bangers and a trail of treasured memories from what was a halcyon period for UK Progressive House.
So it’s with respect for all things past, and with an eye firmly on the present, Hooj is embarking on a what is a first for us, a remix competition, inviting all comers to remix Breeder’s 'Tyrantanic', 'Twilo Thunder' and 'The Chain', for release, along with remastered originals, in early 2024."
