FUNtastic AGILITY FOUNDATIONS with working cocker spaniel Bestie (7-9 months)

Short clips from working cocker spaniel Bestie's recent trainings gathered together 😊 Most trainings in this video were done between her 7th- 9th month (with exception of some target games, which were done sooner).
When training young dogs, I strongly believe in setting great foundations (and working with natural lines), before running any courses. So most of the training we have done so far, was done with 1-2 obstacles and with focusing on setting great understanding for that one behaviour, before including it later into the course 😊 I also love discrimination/thinking games (specially for young dogs), so we do them a lot (as you can see from the video😅😅). But specially when doing those discrimination/thinking games with young dogs, be sure you at beginning set them for success as much as possible (to protect their confidence and motivation) and to present failure gradually and in controlled way 💪 We have also started with see-saw foundations and she knows straight tunnel and also slightly curved one (but if working with curved one, I make sure the entry line is very nice and with minimum impact for such a young dog).
So overall my main focus in the past months was to make her love the training (either that includes wing, target, tunnel,..) and to give her as great understanding connected with that as possible.
