Gryzor/Contra (Nes) CO-OP Playthrough / Uncut and generally better Contra.... and immortal classic !

Gryzor/Contra (1988) by Konami is the standard setter for the run-and-gun genre for a long time. Personally, I get the impression that whenever I play a similar game I compare it to Contra/Gryzor every time. Probably this is because it is an outstanding game, in which all the decisions made and solutions applied to gameplay have worked almost perfectly over the years. Compared to Contra, the game offers more animation, (you can see it already in the first level, when the palm trees move in the wind), and a storyline that was almost completely cut in the western versions. It may not be much, but now the game seems more complete and it is easier to get involved in it because of this. The game is very hard but fair. You never get the feeling that a specific situation is unfair, unless you create it yourself. Graphics are really decent for a game from the 80's. Animations are smooth and backgrounds are detailed enough to get the job done. Music is first class, with many tracks that can sink deep into our memory. Fights with bosses are also quite spectacular as they are sometimes really huge. And the controls are so clear and intuitive that you just want to play. The ability to shoot in 8 directions gives you a lot of options, so you can't blame the game for your failures, you can only blame them on yourself. I personally recommend playing with two players because then the game brings the most satisfaction. In general, this is a legendary game that has earned its place in history , which is one of the few that has surpassed its original arcade form in performance. Not many titles have managed to do this.... and honestly I can't think of any other :P Must have and Must play.
