半山閒居｜no haste, just quiet cheer

半山畔處有人家，
依山傍水遠繁華。
無為不做俗塵事，
輕煮歲月慢煮茶。

In quiet hills, a home does lie,
Far from the noise, beneath the sky.
No worldly tasks to claim the day,
Time flows like streams, in peace we stay.

雲繞青松居靜謐，
風吹翠竹送晚霞。
庭前閒看花開落，
明月清輝入窗紗。

The pine trees whisper with the breeze,
Bamboo sways soft, a dance with ease.
In gardens bright with bloom and hue,
The moonlight spills in silver dew.

夜深星稀聽松濤，
晨起露重賞繁花。
人生自有清閒趣，
不爭名利守天涯。

At dawn, the mist embraces hills,
The birdsong echoes, soft and still.
Life unfolds in calm delight,
Away from fame, beyond the fight.

溪水潺潺繞屋過，
鳥鳴深處動雲霞。
柴門半掩迎風起，
幾許悠然話桑麻。

A stream winds past the humble door,
With every wave, it sings once more.
The seasons shift, but here we find,
In nature’s arms, a peaceful mind.

山高路遠無塵擾，
歲月悠悠伴水沙。
閒時把盞聽風語，
守得寧靜是年華。
