In Pakistan, an international airline flight with 91 passengers and 7 crew members crashed in Jinnah Garden neighborhood which borders the Karachi Airport. Houses were heavily damaged and the rescue operation began immediately. Prime Minister Modi has tweeted about the tragic incident and sent his condolences to the families of the victim. There is a two-minute recording between the ground control and the pilot just before the crash where the pilot stated that the engine was lost and said "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday". There is information coming in that there have been passengers who have survived and severely injured and are admitted to the hospital. The location of the crash happens to be near a residential area. The aircraft was en route to Karachi from Lahore. PM Imran Khan orders a thorough investigation of the tragic crash.
