With his scoring and passing, Tucker DeVries dominated the second half and led a Drake men’s basketball team full of new faces to a 85-70 win over Lipscomb in their season opener at the Knapp Center. DeVries had 23 of his personal-best 36 points in the last 20 minutes and was responsible for the Bulldogs’ first 23 points of that half, helping them to finally take charge and extend their nonconference winning streak to 38 games.
