A look at HISTORIC Abergavenny Castle - Welsh Castle Ruins

A look at the ruins of Abergavenny Castle in Monmouthshire, Wales.

Situated on the Welsh border, from being besieged during Owain Glyndŵr’s rebellion, to being sighted in the English Civil War, the castle has had an eventful history! The ruins have been a tourist attraction since the late 18th Century. These days, Abergavenny’s museum is situated inside the Victorian hunting lodge which was built in the grounds by the 2nd Earl of Abergavenny.

UPDATE - The mountain in the video is actually The Blorenge, not The Sugar Loaf!
