$20 Backpacking Meal Plan Challenge | Cheap & Easy Grocery Store Backpacking Food Ideas for Your Next Trip // Looking for ideas on how to put together a cheap and easy backpacking meal plan for your next trip?

In this video, I’m giving myself a $20 Backpacking Meal Plan Challenge and will show you how I put together meal plan for a 2-day/2-night overnight backpacking trip with a $20 budget. This meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and electrolytes.

My goal, besides staying within my $20 budget for my meal plan, is to give you ideas on how you can put together your own meal plan for your next trip, at your local grocery store, without breaking the bank. I’ll choose foods from the grocery store that are lightweight, calories dense, high in protein, are easy to pack in a hard-sided bear canister and are easy to prepare out on trail.
