Softening cut ends on alpaca BJD wigs for a more natural look

Описание к видео Softening cut ends on alpaca BJD wigs for a more natural look

I've been dying to work on painting Rune's fantasy parts, but the weather has been too rainy for me to do it! Instead I'm trying to keep my customization project rolling by finishing some other parts that can be done while the weather is bad. First on the list was finishing his alpaca wig, which was just too poofy! My thinning shears finally arrived, so here's a quick walkthrough on the method I used to make those cut ends look more natural. I skipped most of the ponytail trimming since it was just me repeating the same technique over and over for an hour, my apologies to anyone who actually wanted to see that!

In case anyone is curious, the shears I got are Oster 40-teeth thinning shears and are typically priced at about $24. I was able to get them on sale for about $9. I love the look and feel of the alpaca fiber wig. And being able to effectively reshape the ends of cut locks means my fleece will go even farther!
