My new woodland / hillside lightweight stalking rifle is a blend of new with old.

I’ve gone with the Bergara Wilderness Ridge Carbon, chambered in .308. With a traditional American style stock for that classic profile, it boasts the durable advantages of synthetic materials, hand painted in Bergara’s Wilderness camo finish. The trusted B14 action is mated to a 20” technologically advanced Cure carbon fibre barrel which delivers sub-moa accuracy while keeping weight to a minimum.

I’ll be topping this rifle with a Schmidt and Bender 6x42 scope with A7 reticle. It’s a vintage scope of West German origin, further adding to the mix of old and new that is the feature of this hunting rifle build.
