The Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, also known as X-Humanoid, has just revealed what is being described as China’s first fully autonomous, unmanned humanoid robot tour guide solution.

This is not a scripted robot following fixed routes or pre programmed behaviors. Powered by the Huisikaiwu embodied AI platform, the TienKung humanoid operates as a true autonomous agent, capable of perception, reasoning, decision making, and coordinated action in real world environments.

At the core of the system is a dual intelligence architecture. A large AI model functions as the brain, handling high level reasoning such as task decomposition, contextual understanding, and answering complex visitor questions. Alongside it is a data driven cerebellum responsible for precise motor control, balance, and real time path adjustments, allowing the robot to move naturally and respond instantly to dynamic environments.

TienKung also acts as an intelligent IoT control hub. During tours, it can autonomously control lights, screens, and connected devices in the space, synchronizing its explanations with visual displays and environmental changes. Reported system latency is under 50 milliseconds, enabling smooth, real time interaction without human intervention.

What truly sets this system apart is multi robot coordination. TienKung can command other humanoid and service robots, such as additional TienKung units or Tianyi models, to perform live demonstrations like material handling or task execution. This creates a fully automated, multi agent presentation where multiple robots work together seamlessly.

This marks a major step beyond single robot demonstrations. It represents a scalable, coordinated humanoid system capable of running entire guided tours independently. The technology is designed for deployment across exhibition halls, shopping malls, museums, and tourist attractions, pointing toward a future where autonomous humanoid systems manage complex public interactions at scale.
