West USA Road Trip - Part 12 - Grand Teton National Park - Colter Bay - Jenny Lake - Salt Lake City

Описание к видео West USA Road Trip - Part 12 - Grand Teton National Park - Colter Bay - Jenny Lake - Salt Lake City

On a beautiful morning at Colter Bay Campground, we wrapped up our tent and got ready for the exploration. Right behind the Colter Bay Visitor Center, I saw the white motorboats docked on the still water of Jackson Lake.

The Lakeshore Trail provides mesmerizing views of Jackson Lake and the Grand Tetons Mountain range.

We took a detour to the summit of Signal Mountain to get panoramic views of Snake River and the vast landscape.

The beautiful road took us to the Jenny Lake visitor center, housed in the historic Crandall Studio built in the late 1920s. Jenny Lake at the base of the Teton range is named after a Shoshone Indian lady who assisted an expedition in 1872.

Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center inspired me with its unique architecture & the amount of information it offers. We drove through Jackson city of Wyoming further south and crossed the Idaho state border for some time.

Via Interstate 15, we moved into Salt Lake City - the capital of Utah state and headed for Temple Square. Twilight was the perfect time to see this 126-year-old & 222 feet high Church illuminated with beautiful lights.
