Neopronouns: What they are, why they're legitimate, and how to get used to them

Описание к видео Neopronouns: What they are, why they're legitimate, and how to get used to them

Here's a video where I answer questions about neopronouns that I received on Facebook! Timestamps next to each question show you where in the video I answer that question.

- (0:00-3:40) What are neopronouns?

- (3:41-5:45) Is there a "canon" of neopronouns? And is it open or closed?

- (5:46-13:26) Can you share some of the reasons nonbinary folk might use neopronouns over "they/them"?

- (13:27-17:14) Is there a link, in your research or experience, between the use of neopronouns and cultural acceptance of or resistance against "they/them" as third-person gender neutral pronouns?

- (17:15 - end) I need videos/podcasts that will let me hear neopronouns' pronounciations and in context. Most of the folks I know that like neopronouns are also ok with they/he/she etc, I shy away from neopronouns because I haven’t heard them used very much and have a disproportionate level of anxiety about mispronouncing/misusing them.
