Ex-Abercrombie CEO arrested on sex trafficking charges | LiveNOW from FOX

Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, was arrested on sex trafficking and interstate prostitution charges, a spokesperson for federal prosecutors said on Tuesday morning. The charges come after years of sexual misconduct allegations, according to officials.

Details of criminal charges were not made available, but they come after years of sexual misconduct allegations made in civil lawsuits, according to prosecutors.

According to NBC News & CNBC, Jeffries was arrested in West Palm Beach, Florida. New York U.S. Attorney Breon Peace along with FBI & police officials are set to hold a news conference at 12 p.m. Eastern Time.

One civil lawsuit filed in New York of last year, previously accused Abercrombie of allowing Jeffries to run a sex trafficking organization during his 22-year tenure.
