Anker Soundcore A30i & R50i NC Review: Which Wireless Earbuds Are Worth It?

Описание к видео Anker Soundcore A30i & R50i NC Review: Which Wireless Earbuds Are Worth It?

In this video, I share my personal take on the Anker Soundcore A30i and R50i NC wireless earbuds! After testing both models, I give the R50i NC an initial rating of 8/10 and the A30i a 7/10. While both earbuds are priced similarly, they offer quite different features.

Tl;dr: The R50i NC impresses with its noise-canceling capabilities and stylish case design, which doubles as a stand. However, I found wind noise to be a major drawback. On the other hand, the A30i shines with its unique 3D spatial sound but suffers from an awkward design that can be tough to handle.

Initial Rating:
R50i NC: 8/10
A30i: 7/10

Honestly, I was surprised both are priced the same, especially since they have quite different features.
I couldn’t find the green R50i, which was a bummer, so I settled for the blue one.
The case design is great—love that it acts as a stand— and it has Noise Cancelling.

The A30i was more of an impulse buy, but I’m not a fan of the awkward design. It’s a bit tough to handle and not super intuitive.

Final Rating:

R50i NC: 7/10
The wind noise on the R50i was the biggest deal-breaker for me. I mean, I tried adjusting settings, but it’s just a consistent issue that ruins the experience, especially since no other Soundcore device I’ve tried has this problem. The sound is decent, and I love that it has noise-cancelling features, but overall, it’s pretty standard. The bass EQ is nice, but if you have the budget, I’d recommend going for something like the 4NC for better sound quality.

A30i: 7.8/10
What really stands out about the A30i is the 3D spatial sound. It’s such a unique feature, and it’s surprising that Anker hasn’t included this in more devices. It does make the audio softer, but the effect is pretty solid once you get used to it. The treble EQ helps boost the vocals and makes the music sound crisp. Design-wise, I love the lipstick style (pink is definitely the best color for this), but it’s annoying that it’s hard to tell which side is which. Still, it’s a fun pair of earbuds for casual use.
