Length of stay is a really critical component to how hospitals operate. It's important to understand that as patients occupy a bed there are always new patients that want to come into that space. Whether they're coming through the emergency department or they have an OR procedure and then need an in-patient bed, capacity always becomes front and center for how hospital administrators are trying to run their organization. Being able to safely and effectively take care of patients is always key, but it's also being mindful of how long a patient stays in an organization. A lot of that work right now happens manually. We're asking clinicians to dig through charts and be able to understand what is the next step for that patient to be able to move them on. Utilizing our large language model you're able to see exactly what's happening, what are those barriers so you can automate those tasks and provide that to the care coordinators who can then go ahead and start to work through those barriers of discharge. And providing that in advance allows them to be able to be more proactive around that work and get a patient out to their next destination in a much more timely manner than they’re currently used to.
