Here is a practical demonstration of Boyle's Law in relation to pressure and volume. When the temperature of an ideal gas is held constant, and the quantity of gas is also constant, then the product of pressure and volume is a constant.

The apparatus featured in the video allows us to measure pressure as the volume of a cylinder (containing air) is decreased. Ultimately, with the pressure volume data (from the video), a graph can be plotted which can be used to determine the number of moles in the cylinder.

The ideal gas law is also reviewed and discussed.
