I'm not crazy about some of the major changes in this update, but everything's still subject to change, so I'm sure it'll all end up feeling great. I think the changes to the Economy, DPS mutations, and (some) crossbows are awesome. Currently, my big issue is that I feel significantly weaker in the early game, due to the lack of stat scrolls. The random amulet you get at the start doesn't feel very impactful because you almost always leave the Prisoner's Quarters with an amulet anyway. Enemy damage and weapon scaling were reworked to offset the fact that weapons don't give stats anymore, but it still makes the early game of 5BC feel a lot worse. I didn't do a brutality run in this video, but the changes to DoT are amazing and one of my favorite things about the update. I should have a video that features the Bleed rework in the next couple of days.
