गावरान मटकी रस्सा बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १/४ कप कच्चे शेंगदाणे
• २ मोठे चमचे किसलेलं सुकं खोबरं
• १०~१२ लसूण पाकळ्या
• तेल
• १/२ चमचा मोहरी
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• चिमूटभर हिंग
• १०~१२ कढीपत्त्याची पानं
• बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• बारीक चिरलेला टोमॅटो
• १ चमचा काळा मसाला
• १ चमचा लाल तिखट
• मोड आलेली मटकी
• पाणी
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १/२ चमचा गूळ (ऐच्छिक)

Mataki rassa is a very easy and simple recipe. We already have seen 2-3 recipes of mataki. Here is another pungent and spicy version of mataki rassa. It tastes just awesome. You can try this simple recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup raw Peanuts
• 2 tbsp shredded dry Coconut
• 10~12 Garlic cloves
• Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• 10~12 Curry leaves
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Tomato
• 1 tsp Kala masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Sprouted Mataki
• Water
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Gudh / Jaggery (Optional)

Method:
• Roast peanuts on medium heat a little and add coconut, garlic.
• Fry it a little for another 2 minutes.
• When coconut gets light golden color turn off the gas and let it cool down a little.
• Transfer everything into a blender jar and blend it into powder.
• Basic masala for mataki rassa is ready.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
• Add hing, curry leaves, onion and fry until onion gets nice golden color.
• When onion gets light golden color add tomato and fry everything for about 2-3 minutes.
• When onion and tomato cook soft add the blended masala, kala masala, red chili powder and
mix well.
• You can use goda masala, kanda lasun masala or any other masala that is stored with you in
place of kala masala.
• When masala is fried well add mataki and mix well.
• Add water, salt and mix well.
• Bring it to boil.
• When rassa begins to boil turn the heat to medium, cover and cook for about
15-20 minutes.
• When mataki is cooked well add jaggery and mix well.
• Adding gudh is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Gavran mataki rassa is all ready.
• You can have it with hot bhakari oo chapatti.
