The Patrick L. Ross Fellowship Fund provides vital assistance to graduate students from diverse backgrounds. Celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology doctoral program and support the students who will support society.

Longtime professor and former associate dean Patrick L. Ross, PhD, retired from Adelphi’s Gordon F. Derner Institute of Psychological Studies in 2012. In a show of gratitude for his 45 years with the University, members of the Derner community endowed a scholarship fund in his name. The Patrick L. Ross Fellowship Fund provides financial assistance to doctoral students in their first year of study who demonstrate academic promise and financial need.

In its first decade, the fund raised $1.25 million for promising students in need. The fund remains strong through the generous support of alumni and those familiar with the work done every day at Derner. For more information on how to support the Patrick L.
