MAJOR GLOW UP! DIY Upholstery | Thrifted Accent Chair for $30

I've been wanting to update the chairs in my living room for a while now because the ones I had were just too big for the space (they are getting re-homed with my parents!) When I looked into buying 2...I wasn't prepared to drop $200-$400 per chair.

I managed to a pair of chairs on Facebook Market Place with a style similar to what I was looking for for just $40 for the pair!

What I learned was...this was a MUCH bigger job than I thought it would be. It took a few days, hours or sanding and some frustration later--and I have a beautiful new chair! (I still have to do the second one haha!)

Since I already had my sander, wood stain, and staple gun...this chair only cost me a total of $27! I found my woven black fabric on sale--so it only cost me $15 for the material I needed for both chairs!

I know it's not perfect, but I LOVE it! Let me know what you think of it!
