How to read with the Sola Busca tarot deck

As someone who has been studying and collecting historical decks, I was very happy to get my paws on my first Sola Busca.

However, as impressed and satisfied as I was when looking through this deck, I had almost no idea of how to read with it. This was due to the fact that many of the illustrations are not based upon the modern day meanings that most of us are familiar with.

I found ways to identify differences between the Major Arcana (trumps), Minor Arcana (pips), and court cards. Basically..it's all in the symbols. I found that this made things a lot easier to read with.

Here is a brief guide:

MAJOR ARCANA/TRUMPS: Look for a roman numeral, and know what numeral corresponds to what card. Also..... decide what your VIII and XI symbolize (is the VIII Strength or Justice...and vice versa for XI).

COURT CARDS: No roman numeral is present. Kings and Queens both sit in thrones and wear crowns. Queens are more feminine looking than the kings. Knights are on horses, and Pages stand alone with only one suit symbol. I neglected to mention this, but Pages have 11's on them, Knights have 12's, Queens have 13's, and Kings have 14's.

ACES: Only one of the symbol, and it is directly in the middle. Pretty similar to most other decks.

MINOR ARCANA/PIPS: there is more than one of each suit symbol, and there is a small numeric symbol corresponding to the number of the card.
