Описание к видео Honda CRF450 Fork Rebuild | CRF450 Fork Seal Replacement | Dirt Bike Fork Rebuild | CRF450 PT 15

See how to rebuild the forks on a Honda CRF450 in this video from Partzilla.com.

For this job, we’re using a kit from Pivot Works. It has the seals, bushings, and everything you need except the oil. Find one for your bike here: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog-pro...

We’re doing a complete rebuild, from the tires and wheels to the suspension to the engine, on a 2005 CRF450R. If you’d like to see the whole project, check it out here:    • Honda CRF450 Engine Rebuild

We’ve worked on the rear suspension, so now we’re turning our attention to the fork. In this video, we’re going to replace the fork seals on our CRF450 along with a bunch of other parts. John will start with the fork already removed from the motorcycle, and we’ll get right into disassembling the fork. The key here-- particularly once you start reassembling-- is CLEANLINESS. All along the way in this process, we’ll be cleaning the small parts to make sure we don’t get any debris into the fork.

With the fork disassembled, we’ll tackle the fork tube seals and bushings. Again, we want to make sure everything is clean because we don’t want anything to score the tube. We’ll use some electrical tape and a little fork oil to further protect the tube as we slide everything into place. Then, we’ll work on getting O-rings placed on the damper assembly.

With everything in place, we’ll work on assembling the fork and refilling it. Then we’ll get it closed back up.
