This is not a typical window motor replacement job. The glass has to separated from the regulator. Subaru locktites the nuts on the glass so if you try to loosen them the studs will just spin with in the retaining washers. You must clamp them to get the nuts off and glass out. Glass comes out the top, regulator out the bottom. Be sure to get the green , pink, blue, channel slide guide tracks back into place. This is a very difficult job for sure !
