Hildegarde (1933)

Описание к видео Hildegarde (1933)

Titles read: "Now, here comes Hildegarde, (and a piano). (From Cafe de Paris, etc.)."

Pathe Studio, London.

Various shots of cabaret artist Hildegarde sitting at the grand piano in a sparkling evening dress. She plays and sings "I Was In The Mood" - a lilting song about a girl who ended up pushing a pram because... she was in the mood (mmm mmm!).

Cataloguer's note: I think Hildegarde is quite a charming entertainer! Not many singers today could put over these simple (and sometimes rather dopey) songs in such a charismatic way.
