Today we make 2 versions of the Buffalo Milk from Catalina Island. This slightly tropical mudslide was created in the 1970s by Michael Hoffler and named after the Buffalo that have been on the island since the 1920s. You'll find 2 versions here, one that is very similar to what you would be served on Catalina Island today and another slightly revised version from me.

Buffalo Milk
¾ oz creme de cacao (22.5 ml)
¾ oz banana liqueur (22.5 ml)
¾ oz Kahlua (22.5 ml)
1 ½ oz vodka (45 ml)
2 oz half and half (60 ml)
1 ½ cups ice
Top with whipped cream

MaD Version
¾ oz Tempus Fugit creme de cacao (22.5 ml)
¾ oz Giffard banana liqueur (22.5 ml)
¾ oz Luxardo Espress (22.5 ml)
½ oz coconut rum (15 ml)
1 ½ oz probitas rum (45 ml)
1 ½ oz half and half (45 ml)
¼ tsp xanthan
Blend
1 cup ice
½-¾ frozen banana
