In a new video this week on Transportation TV, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials President and Rhode Island Department of Transportation Director Mike Lewis testifies before the Highways and Transit Subcommittee of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Lewis said the current surface transportation bill, MAP-21, includes "transformative policy and program reforms" and he urged Congress to allow implementation to move forward before contemplating major changes.
