As soon as we discovered that there are wild horses on Assateague Island in Maryland and that can you CAMP there, we were immediately sold. This national park has been on our camping wishlist for years! Securing a spot is extremely hard as reservations need to be made 6 months in advanced but we were finally able to go in May.
