»Concept Of A Happy Mom« questions the media portrayal of women* in the role of the mother and shows the consequences of mental load & exhaustion. Real stock footage with clichéd everyday scenes, are juxtaposed with serious personal statements. The result is an irritating narrative that questions the concept of the supposedly Happy Mom.

Following her award-winning and internationally successful debut film »POSTPARTUM«, this is director Henriette Rietz's second short film.
