that occurred within the limits of Kamati Police Station and arrested 7 accused individuals.According to the police, this incident took place on January 3, 2026. Neha, a resident of Hyderabad, filed a complaint stating that unknown individuals attacked her husband Amit Singh with knives near the Pochamma Temple in the Maharaj Gunj area. In a critically injured condition, Amit Singh was immediately transferred to Osmania General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Subsequently, the police converted the case from attempt to murder to murder.During the investigation, the police learned that there was an illicit relationship between Pooja and Amit Singh. According to the police, disputes had arisen over this matter before as well, and despite efforts at reconciliation, the relationship had not been completely ended.The police stated that after persuasion from her husband Mathukati Ravi, Pooja decided to end her relationship with Amit Singh; however, even so, Amit Singh was allegedly continuously harassing Pooja. Pooja informed her husband Ravi of this harassment, after which Ravi hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Amit Singh.According to the police, under the plan, Pooja was sent to meet Amit Singh and lured him to the area near Pochamma Temple in Maharaj Gunj. As soon as Amit Singh arrived there, Ravi arrived at the scene with his relatives and associates. During this time, a scuffle broke out, and the main accused, Mathukati Ravi, attacked Amit Singh with a knife, as a result of which he was transferred to Osmania Hospital for treatment, where he could not survive.The police have arrested a total of seven accused in this case, including:Mathukati Ravi, Mathukati Pooja, Mathukati Pradeep Kumar, Shetkar Akash, Shetkar Anish, Mahesh Kumar Pati, and Ajay Austhi.The knife used in the crime, three motorcycles, and seven mobile phones have also been seized by the police. All the accused have been produced in court and sent to judicial custody.According to Hyderabad Police, further investigation into the case is ongoing, and strict action will be taken against all individuals involved in the incident as per the law
