I don’t usually enter #remix contests, here’s why I decided to enter this one and how I approached the remix.

Camiel Daamen ( ‪@LessonsinLive‬ ) a Dutch #DJ and #producer, currently based in Spain. I love his @LessonsinLive interviews with other A-List producers. When I heard he was holding a remix contest, I scrambled to see what I could come up with.

I love the moody minimal dub stabs in the original, they also matched the winter Seattle Weather. Also, the prize for the contest is to be on a release from Foundations Records, which matches my sound perfectly. For contrast, my version has sparkly vocoder stabs, re-worked drums, and a new bubbly lead synth.
