Pokémon LeafGreen - Longplay - Hardcore Nuzlocke (No Commentary)

Welcome to my first ever hardcore Nuzlocke video! I was inspired to play this challenge by Silph Spectre! I will link his channel below. I have grow up playing Pokémon and I very much enjoy the games, especially the ones from 2004-2012. Pokémon leaf green is very nostalgic to me, even though my first main series game was Pokémon Pearl (coming soon!). I hope you enjoy this Longplay of my hardcore Nuzlocke!

Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
Can only catch the first Pokémon in each route/town/cave
A Pokémon that faints must be permanently boxed. It is considered dead.
I must nickname my Pokémon (can you guess my naming theme?)
No healing items in battle (held items okay)
Can't level up past the next gym leader/last elite 4 ace
No legendary Pokémon may be used
No trade evolutions allowed
Species clause in effect
