First part in a long term series on fabricating a tyre hammer based on the plans by Ray Clontz and Clay Spencer. I will be building this hammer to the plans though some modifications have been made to account for the material sizes and parts I have available to me. this hammer will end up with a 25kg/55lb ram and be powered by a 1 1/2 horse motor. It is of a fabricated construction and is cleverly designed to be built from common parts and steel sizes.
