In this very first video of the Young and Dharmic series, I will explain the fundamental belief of Hinduism and how it aligns to the scientific explanation of the universe, as well as offer practical advice on how to apply the belief in our daily lives.

1. Introduction of the channel and it’s purpose

You may think you know all about Hinduism because you celebrate Diwali and Holi and watch cartoons related to our Gods! But there are a huge number of lessons to be learned from Hinduism and questions you may now know the answers to - this series will aim to teach those lessons and answer those questions in an easy to understand manner.

2. The essence of Hinduism

Hinduism is commonly understood to have many different Gods, some say even up to 33 million. However, the fundamental teaching of Hinduism comes from the understanding that we are all creations from a single source of energy called Brahman. This teaching is in line with the modern day understanding of the formation of the universe, most commonly referred to as the Big Bang theory.

3. Our common bond

We are all part of one big family and the greeting of Namaste is just one example of how we recognize that divine that resides in every single one of us. We need to remember that common bond as we live our daily life.

4. Takeaways and practical application

From time to time, we may have differences with those around us but when that occurs, its important for us to look for a solution and remember other people are just like us.
