The Trent Simulation team have developed this short cartoon to introduce some of the theories behind the use of Simulation as a tool to support adult learning.

In this short presentation we will cover:
What motivates adult learners
The theory behind adult learning
The theory behind simulation and learning by participation
Topics to be discussed during debrief, including non-technical skills

The video acts as a short introduction to simulation but you can learn more by accessing a Faculty Development training session at the Trent Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre.
