This carry on luggage is VERY nice. (It is also very expensive).

It splits down the middle using a hinged frame, held together by two clasps (which include combination locks) instead of zippers, so it is very quick to open/close (if the combination is already entered, or you don't use one). The two halves mate with a "V-groove" which lock the two sides together when closed.

It has a carry handle on both the top and side which feel very nice in your hand and have a soft close spring to keep them laying flat against the case. The telescoping pull handle has 3 adjustable heights to accommodate different users.

It glides smoothly and quietly on the 4 spinning caster wheels. It has all the standard TUMI features you expect (leather monogram patch, TUMI Tracking number inside, fancy name tag). The outside panels are made from recycled polycarbonate and textured with a "ripple" effect. They are strong, but do "give" and deform slightly if hit before bouncing back. [You can upgrade to a version of the luggage with Aluminum or Titanium metal instead of the polycarbonate if you want to spend more money.]

Overall this is the nicest piece of luggage I've seen...mostly because I would never spend $895 on a piece of luggage. But if you have that much disposable income, you won't be disappointed.
