In this episode, Åsa Fast Berglund, presents the Stena Industry Innovation Lab (SII-Lab), which is an international testbed within smart automation. It was inaugurated in 2018 and funded by The Sten A Olsson Foundation for Research and Culture.
You will get an introduction to the lab, the research areas and you will also get an glimpse of the facilities.
Åsa's research area focuses at how and why companies chose different automation solutions and what consequences this choice has on the work environment for the operators.

Note: In the film the abbreviations IMS and TME are used. They stand for: Department of Industrial and Materials Science (IMS) and Department of Technology Management and Economics (TME).
