1) Calculate the volume strength of 1.5 N solution? (Equivalent wt H2O2 = 17)
N = (Wt/L )/ Equivalent wt Wt = 25.5 g
25.5 g of H2O2 = 8.4 L of O2
Ans.: Vol strength of H2O2 = 8.4 L
2) 50 ml of an aqueous solution of H2O2 was treated with an excess of KI solution and dil. H2SO4. The liberated I2 required 20 mL 0.1N Na2S2O3 solution for complete reaction. Calculate the volume strength of H2O2
