Investing in SDG Action - UN SDG Media Zone (Davos 2020)

The UN Global Compact is convening a taskforce of CFOs for a 24-month engagement to provide a platform to interact with their peers, investors, financial institutions, and the United Nations to share ideas, develop new concepts and frameworks, and provide recommendations to unlock private capital and create a market to mainstream SDG investments.

The UN SDG Media Zone convenes Government leaders, CEOs, UN heads, activists, influencers and entrepreneurs for short panel discussions on topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
To mark its 20th anniversary, the UN Global Compact in partnership with the UN Department of Global Communications, is bringing the SDG Media Zone to Davos for the first time during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. Topics discussed include principled business, climate action, gender equality, sustainable finance, global health, employee purpose and many more issues directly related to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which was unanimously agreed by 193 UN member states in September 2015.
