In the first half, we finally learned how the human convulsions started... and wow, it’s dark. Sister Sumire has been pulling strings behind the scenes for over 250 years, and the fact that she’s the 7th Pillar?! Absolutely chilling. Seeing her show Hibana the burning devil children she’s kept with her? That was pure evil.

Then the second half takes a turn with Arthur’s arc. After losing his fight and breaking Excalibur, he’s down bad—but leave it to Vulcan to lift his spirits with an epic (and totally made-up) quest for the rare metal Excalibur is “made of.” Even the people of Asakusa got involved in the fantasy! But of course, Arthur being Arthur, he misinterprets the final clue and somehow concludes… he needs to go to the Nether. 💀

I’m so excited to see where this journey takes him next week!
