From the metropolis of Taipei in the north of Taiwan this train route leads eastwards over the so-called North-link. When arriving at the east coast, the waves of the Pacific almost reach to the train tracks.The final destination of the first route is Yilan, a city amidst the rice-fields. In Sandiaoling we take the Pinxi-line which takes us to our final destination, the beautiful village of Jingtong.
