Iris Loda has a strong implication that one of her students is troubled and oppressed. However, her student Chrys Ann is embarrassed about her situation, yet she was sure she didn’t want to deliver her baby into a world of poverty and depression. But, Iris Loda was committed to being an instrument of deliverance, when the perfect opportunity presented itself and Chrys Ann threatens to break the ties of poverty that binds her and Darius.
