welcome to Part 2 of my railfanning weekend in Rivers, MB. Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left off.
(0:00) shortly after 347 cleared town, things quieted down a bit, but picked up again pretty quick as I caught a Westbound intermodal passing the Rivers station with the best lashup of the weekend on the point.
(7:30)- just like clockwork, around thirty minutes later, I was back at Grant's Curve and caught another Westbound intermodal with 2+1+1 power.
(12:10)- a little later in the afternoon, the GEVO leader on an Eastbound intermodal put on a great sound show as it it pulled out of the station after a quick crew change.
(18:00)- a quite late VIA #1 arrives and leaves town with two F40PH-2d's leading a sizable Canadian west.
(20:00)- twenty-seven minutes later, a IC Dash 9 and BC Rail Dash 8 lead a manifest west. with camera batteries and memory running low I elected to not shoot the entirety of what appeared to be a unit oil train. there was a few manifest cars tacked onto the end.
(21:50)- remember this one from Part 1? they finally left at 1645-- four hours and twenty minutes after arriving
