Static variables are variables which have the same value for every instance of the class. These variables are declared outside of any method or constructor in the class. They are accessible to all the instances of the class, but not directly to the instances. Static variables are allocated memory only once when the object for the class is created for the first time. Static variables are created outside of any function or method, so they are accessible to all the functions or methods of the class. They are declared using the keyword “static”. Static variables are useful when we want to maintain a data or a value across all the instances of the class.🙂
